On May 6, 2023, at 11:46 p.m. deputies were dispatched to a shooting victim at 192 Bud Spell Ln. Roseboro, NC.  Upon arrival deputies located a male victim at the location who had succumb to gunshot wounds. The deceased has been identified as Marquese Moore, 23, B/M of Garland, NC.  

A female victim also received a non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Cape Fear Valley Hospital for treatment.  The female victim’s name is being withheld currently pending the on-going investigation.
